I compiled a few photos of random buildings from a trip in NYC last spring and well known Ottawa buildings and overlaid video footage of moving cars to create a “tableau vivant” or living photograph. The footage was shot with a handheld cellphone to capture the presence of instability in a memory, while a grain effect was applied to demonstrate the absence of clarity in a memory.
